MOD Producciones is a audiovisual production company. Its aim is to produce quality works that satisfy the most demanding audience and also do well at box office.

MOD Producciones believes in innovative projects and brings to Spanish cinema a unique work philosophy built on experienced professionals of recognized prestige. Professionals and experts from different areas of audiovisual production, fully committed to projects the company decides to support and develop after rigorous analysis.

MOD Producciones has offices in Madrid and Barcelona and manages production logistics for film and television productions of national and international dimension.

MOD Producciones was founded by Fernando Bovaira, Pablo Alfaro and Simón de Santiago.

In 1997, he joined the Sogecable group, as part of the Film Acquisitions Department of Canal + Spain. In 2000, he also became responsible for re-launching Canal+ Guiones, an script development programme to nurture new writing talent. In 2002, he became Deputy Director of Distribution of Sogepaq, where he was in charge of the international department, promoting and selling some of the most important recent Spanish films, such as Alejandro Amenábar's Oscar winning "The Sea Inside", Julio Medem's "Sex & Lucía", "Mondays in the Sun" by Fernando León de Aranoa or "Take my Eyes" by Icíar Bollaín. In December 2004, he was appointed Head of Production and International for Sogecine & Sogepaq. In April 1997, he accepted Fernando Bovaira's offer to be Financial Director of Sogecine. Three years later, he became Joint Head of Film Production and Distribution of Sogecine and Sogepaq, a post he held until 2004, when he also took on responsibility for management of content for Sogecable. For over two years, he carried out both functions – Joint Head of Film and Head of Content – until, in 2007, he decided to embark upon new professional endeavors and co-founded MOD PRODUCCIONES. During his time with the Sogecable group, he was involved in the production of over 45 feature films.
