Synopsis:

"Who would imagine that Spain would reach the final?", Is the reasoning that Efrain uses to placate the fiery moods of his brothers for having chosen to marry the day on which, finally, the Spanish National Soccer Team can reach the glory and leave behind decades of false hopes and frustrations. ‘The Great Spanish Family’ is a film about a wedding that takes place during the World Cup final in South Africa. That day of collective catharsis, while the country was paralyzed, a family composed of five brothers with biblical names: Adam, Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel and Ephraim, will also face the most important game of his life. Will they be able to win? Is it worth it to win by any means? Can you lose with dignity? Should we play attack or is it better to defend ourselves and play kickback?
